About
I am a scientist studying normal and pathological aspects of the liver. I am fascinated by its versatility: its central role in metabolism and physiology, how it could be affected by several pathologies, and its regenerative capabilities. My research focuses on liver cancer. More recently, I have been studying one of the leading causes of hepatocellular carcinoma: HBV. I aim to identify critical host factors that modulate cell infection by HBV. I hold a Research Associate position at Imperial College London, Department of Infectious Disease, Section of Virology, in St Mary's campus.
